Stevenson is a good school. My husband went there and both my kids went there for summer school. My daughter loved it so much she went back for 3 years!

Cate is one of the best schools in California, although Stevenson is not that far behind. They are both stronger than Webb.

You can also take a look at Thacher, which is another good Californian school.

Three schools are equally outstanding schools and very popular in the West. Their academic courses are rigorous and demanding. Educational approaches are slightly different, for example, Webb somewhat emphasizes development of leadership aspect, while Stevenson is rather trying to teach ethically balanced education 'knowledge and practice. However, if you try to rank these schools, you will fail because there is no objective criteria judge them and produce ranking. Also, the quality of education at each school will be determined by who you are as a student. That means you should find out what kind of a student you are and which school is really a match school for you. Please do not rank them based on average SAT scores or numbers of IVY accepted students. That does not help you at all. Instead, go deeper and dig more information from school while trying to learn about the school.
